This record is a couple of months old so apologies if I'm crazy late on this but its been sat in my I Tunes for a little while and I hadn't had a chance to listen to it. It finally came up on shuffle so I had a listen and I had to bring it up for a Halloween spin or two...
A few months ago, I randomly spotted a man walking down Portobello Road with a dog balancing on his shoulder. As you do. (If you didn't catch Dog Man No.1 the first time round on ATCN check him out here.) Now there is ANOTHER Dog Man on the streets of London town. I don't get it? Is this the 2008 definition of Grandad swagger? Whatever it represents it keeps me entertained.
ALL CAPS is a new start up label from London. Above is a small selection from their new Indian Summer lookbook.

ALL CAPS - are you feeling it? Does this collection SINK or SWIM?

If everyone in London is on coke (not sure I'm co-signing that one, Lily) then New Yorkers are apparently one step ahead of us, with Crystal Meth fast replacing cocaine as the Class A of choice. In an attempt to curb the use of 'Hillybilly Heroin', The Partnership for a Drug-Free America has issued these Before and After shots of Meth abusers.
Like the pictures you see of tobacco-ravaged lungs on American cigarette packets, but scarier.
Don't do drugs, kids.
'Faces of Meth'

The only thing scarier than the prospect of McCain as US President? Sarah Palin as his VP.
Asked in August about the prospect of becoming a vice-presidential nominee
It kind of cracks me up. It is so far out of the realm of reality (2008)
On her favourite food
Moose stew, after a day of snow-machinin' (2006)
On what got her into politics
I'm one of those people, y'know, I see a soldier walk through the airport and, y'know, my heart does a little double-take (2008)
On Barack Obama
Al-Qaeda terrorists still plan to inflict catastrophic harm on America and he's worried someone won't read 'em their rights (2008)
On John McCain
He's the kind of fellow whose name you will find on war memorials in small towns across this great country. Only he was among those who came home (2008)
Speaking at her old church, the Wasilla Assembly of God
I can do my part in doin' things, like workin' really really hard to get a natural gas pipeline (2007)
On her son, Track
When he turned 18, right before he enlisted, he had to get his first tattoo. And I'm like, 'Nah, I don't think that's real cool, son' until he showed me what it was and I thought, 'Oh he did something right', because he had a big ol' Jesus fish. So OK (2008)
When asked: 'what if Israel attacked Iran?'
We shouldn't second guess Israel's security efforts because we cannot ever afford to send a message that we would allow a second Holocaust, for one (2008)
On how Alaska's proximity to Russia gave her foreign policy experience
That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundary that we have with Canada (2008)
Asked if she regularly got up early
Yup. We don't sleep much. Too much to do. What I've had to do, though, is in the middle of the night, put down the Blackberries and pick up the breast pump (2008)
On Alaska
We want to see Ivana Trump because we are so desperate in Alaska for any semblance of glamour and culture (1996)
On the American forces
They are building schools for the Afghan children, so there is hope in our neighbouring country of Afghanistan (2008)
Asked if she was ready to be a mere heartbeat away from the presidency
Absolutely. Yup yup (2008)
Tribes very own DELS has got some crazines brewing in the studio.TRUST. Myself and G.K ventured over to rehearsals to catch some good vibes, have a sneaky listen and grab a couple quick shots.
If you're yet to check DELS out you can do so here, our boy will be tearing up stages in NYC any night now.
