A Lost London

Photographer and born-and-bred Londoner Chris Clunn has been documenting life in his hometown for over 25 years. His distinctive black and white portraiture focuses primarily on capturing those eccentric characters that once played a focal part in London's culture but whose presence in the Capital is now, sadly, diminishing.

In a new exhibition at the Rathbone Gallery, Clunn has assembled a collection of images from his extensive archive of Londoners captured over several decades. Expect to see everything from Smithfield butchers to Pearly Kings and Queens to Norman Jay on a Chopper: a small but perfectly formed selection of his work that is a must-see for anyone who currently calls London home.

The exhibition is now open and runs until 8th November. Full details here.
