Plaid too far?

We all love a bit of plaid. Tartan and plaid play happily together like siamese twins. D & G have in layman terms smacked it with their A/W 2008. No don't go and break your piggy's little porcelain feet, get vintage shopping and cop your own used one!

Photobucket

These ads have been knocking around for a while now and I'm undecided. I love me a bit of granny chic. But how appealing would a girl be with a scarf on her head? Mmm?

I agree. Granny chic is hot, but the scarf, etc with this look is more than a bit much.
However, I think the scarf around the head that way is definitely hot in and of itself, but in a 40s/50s hollywood starlet kinda way instead.

Nope - hate it! The only one whose clothes I like is the little boy behind the chickens - you can hardly see this plaid trousers - which is why I think he's the best dressed! I usually like plaid - but this is too dreary and Mormon looking for me

Only Brandon Flowers(of The Killers) can pull of the Mormon look. Regular dudes please don't try it.

@ anon - I find the whole image itself disturbing, especially the quasi-Marilyn Manson looking dude second from right...
