CDJ'S are dead...

wow they lasted like 3 years and its all over for the CDJs

I was in a conversation with Mistajam last week and realised he wasn't paying any attention cause he was watching the new Termanology video. The song is good but halfway through Premo is cutting up on some digital decks that look mind blowing... its about 1min 14 in, click the image to see the full video...

what do you reckon, time to send the CDJs the way of the vinyl decks??

Sink or Swim?

I think vinyl will still be around long after CDJ's are dead and buried - admittedly not in the same numbers as before but too many cats out there (especially those into dance music) are refusing to let vinyl go...

Those decks in the vid are CRAZY tho! And the track is hot as hell. I wanna know if anyone over here can bring the heat like that....

After a bit of geeksearch, the decks in the Termanology video aren't real however some student in Scotland created touchscreen turntables for his degree project.

I would post a link but I'm on my blackberry - google "touch screen turntable" or "touch screen decks"

I dont think CDJ's will die. I don't think vinyl will ever completely die either. Every DJ will have their prefrence.

Mistajam how can u reveal that they aren't real? They had me excited man. lol.

CDJ's aint going nowhere....pioneer will come with some heavy shit on the mk4's and stay where they've always been..at the top. Numark and Gemini tried doing some stupid hybrid turntable CDJ combo thing but it didnt catch on...
