Ben Esser, who became tired of sitting behind the drum skins in cover bands at Pontins (he is LadyFuzz's ex-drummer) decided to sing/play/produce his own music. He is now aided by a full band of samples, bass and his little brother on the drums. I have been keeping my eye on this band for a little while now and I think this is pop music at it's best...

I don't know...
if I were to just hear these songs on the radio or something, I'd probably change the channel.
But watching the videos make Esser seem kinda endearly, somehow.
In "I love you" he looks so awkward and vulnerable that you can't help but continue watching, and headlock was fun to watch...

You know ive been hearing a lot of esser lately but cant say i'm a huge fan ! Dont know what it is about him but it just doesn't appeal to me as much as I thought he would! Hope he does well though, he seems a little different from all the manufactured shit gracing the top 40 circa UK '08.
that dudes trim is serious. he looks like he just stepped off the set of Grease.
Im in two minds about the music though, it is fresh, i have to admit....
