Jenny Holzer is an American conceptual artist. The main focus of her work is the use of ideas and words in public space. Her work first entered the streets surreptitiously, by putting up posters that were quickly covered up in the pell-mell of advertising. Over the past 15 years her work has become "street furniture clothing", appearing on buildings, billboards, shopping bags, T-Shirts and hats.
