I want Est'elle to win.
The UK industry never really backed her and she had to do what she thought best. I'm not gonna hate on that because it worked out good.
When Madonna went with UK producers eg. Nellee Hooper, you never saw the Americans saying she was hating on her country.

I love the Laura Marling but for me Burial is a good shout. I wouldn't be mad at any of them winning although some of them I have no idea about - off to do some research...

That album hit me stupidly hard. I like approx half the Neon Neon album, the nomination is a big look for LEX.
Last Shadow puppets was pretty enjoyable too. Can't argue with a couple of talented youngsters doing Axlerod impressions.
In total agreement, Age of the Understatement is awesome.

why are they nominated for a 'breakthough to music' type award thingy? they've been doing big things in music for years! surely they don't need anymore publicity, especially when they practically gave their last album away for free, causing the biggest stir in music since Napster.
Burial gets my vote, even if (again) the Mercurys are 2 years behind the scenes movements..
Adele is cool, dunno about the rest to be fair.
