Yet another example of the mystifying effect this woman seems to have on men. One of the few much-desired female icons whose appeal I. Just. Can't. See. Had a twenty minute conversation with a male friend recently as he tried to explain the whole thing but no still no light was shed.... Break it down for me Clav?!!
i reckon it's cos she's got big boobies and big loot and she looks like she would buy loads of expensive shit for a guy and let him take the piss out of her for a while until she finally clocked on that he was a good-for-nothing cuntface and by then he would be bored of her anyway.
Phoebe, I wouldn't expect you to see her appeal, (you're a chick after all!) but I'll try to enlighten you as best as I can. Essentially, there are two (OK, maybe three) types of women: Firstly, the one's who are "wife material"; think Claire Huxtable - even after all these years she STILL sets the standard for black women (all you girls out there take note!).
Then there's the "not my wife" type; women who as the Man from Del Monte you would say yes (Yes!) to because they're fine to look at or simply they got that "sumthin sumthin", knowing your boys would give you respect for the rest of your life for having gone there with (Mya, Stace Dash, new Janet as opposed to old Janet, old Janet was wife material - see!?) but they have such a messed up habit/personality/history you could NEVER bring them home to mamma because of the shame she'd make you feel for having anything to do with them ie Mariah Carey, Naomi Campbell (never really got her appeal until I met her...) and all pretty porn stars.
Finally there are the women who you wouldn't touch with some-one else's let alone yours because the level of skankiness is too overpowering. Khia of "My Neck, My Back" fame/Superhead et al. However depending on how nasty/desparate one is these women could fall into catagory two it's just that one must have had a REALLY bad day and would go to great lengths to make sure it was kept secret!!!
Thing is, most guys out there will take what's on offer if it's thrown at them long enough - it just depends how one feels on a particular day...

@ Josephine - not all men like big boobies (in fact, many don't like 'em big, trust me on this!) and in no way would I want to get with her cos of her money, as far as I'm concerned I'm doing me thing; to hell with being a "kept" man!!!
@ Clav...Thanks for the clarification. Still don't quite get it with Mariah. I guess the whole 'Not my wife' category is one that doesn't really have a equivalent in the world of the female heterosexual (at least not mine anyway) but whatever floats your boat I guess!
