Do you D.M?

As part of the ‘made in monochrome’ collection for AW08 that consists of no frills, confident and classic Dr. Martens’ silhouettes true to the core in heritage, style and design this boot has me in two minds.

I want to hate but i cant... Am i about to start running the streets like a skin head in some D.M's?
You see only some people can pull of the Doc Martin boot (Shout out to sharmadean for poppin style from time) so where do you stand?
Sink or Swim?

It swims! You know that look when you want your sneakers to be so white they're shining and you don't want ANYONE stepping on them?? I see people rocking these ghost coloured Docs in the same way! I like the new revamp!

sharma is the sex.

i think they look good if you so happen to have a really old tatty pair, so it looks like you been rocking them from day on ur own accord, rather than looking like a trend follower.

come on Booga! Have you never gone out with an outfit that required white shoes and white shoes ALONE would have completed the look!? I'm TELLING you - these docs are it! The pair of should that you need to cement your look!!!

Back in year 7 when I had my original docs with black with gold stitching, only one other person had them... then all of a sudden plaid and metallic and army coloured docs started coming out and everyone seemed to have a pair! These white ones are just the next step in the evolution process. Don't stop the progress - let them swim!

Lol Heidi, you're very passionate about this aren't you? I understand white skates to complete a certain outfit, but something about these in all white that's a little off to me. They remind me of something ravers would wear or nurses or people who wear crocs. I just can't cosign with the monotone docs, call me old school...

Lol not passionate - just idle. I'd probably only wear these myself once or twice a year and though they do look like someone overkilled on the white shoe polish AND look like something nurses would wear... there's something about them that I kinda like.. I think ;o)

"not passionate, just idle" haha, that's a classic line and perfectly describes so many of my posts.
