BOWTIE

Photobucket

I am usually quite skeptical when rappers and beatmakers try anything apart from rapping and making beats, but Kanye West might just buck the trend.

As seen in this shoot for the current issue of VMAN 'Pastelle' is arriving imminently and the union of Kanye and Kim Jones seems to be fruitful as oppossed to just plain fruity, tasteful as oppossed to tack.

Although there is a bow tie shtick/preppy epidemic coursing through streetwear and menswear at the moment Pastelle seems to be a modern take on the same ol' dance. It feels dignified yet contemporary and very pop.
If the rest of the collection holds this much weight than Kanyeezy has clocked it... again. What do y'asll think?

I don't know if I can get down with the denim button up underneath. Maybe it will grow on me. I'm feeling the southwestern print on the bowtie though, and overall, the look is very crrrrisp

The RL influence is overwhelming but as long as it doesn't have the word 'Kanye' printed anywhere on the garment we're kool-de=la.

i think its a great look , hes managed to keep his personality in there but make it high fashion.

As for the denim shirt..its fashion forward and he's managed to pull it off by balancing it out with the blazer.

he smash's it! every look is a reworked look and takes infleunces from the past in order to bring it forward.

I refuse to acknowledge that denim shirt is working - in a few years that picture will be as absurd as the bell-bottom jeans paired with striped platform boots rocked by grown, hard-backed men (and yes, my dad rocked that style back in the day!) in the 70s.

Trust.

Certain things should not come back in fashion, and i believe the denim shirt is one of them.

In this picture it looks alright, but im definitely not looking to rock that anytime soon.

Kanye is over styled he does not look comfortable, but i must say the denim shirt will be back not with a bowtie though.
