Legendary US soul singer Isaac Hayes has died at his home in Memphis at the age of 65. Hayes, who suffered a stroke in 2006, won an Oscar in 1971 for his hit song Theme from Shaft.
He was also the voice of the South Park character Chef...

@ GK - The Shaft soundtrack is nearly as huge as the Pulp Fiction soundtrack?? Please!!! The theme from Shaft defines a whole ERA!!!! That film represents the absolute zenith of "Blaxpoitation" movie making...
So don't get it twisted, although I'm not mad at ya - and to be fair you're a little too young to know... No disrespect.
