I have been feelin' the Late of The Pier sound ever since they released 'Bathroom Gurgle' via the mighty Moshi Moshi Records. They are a reaction to Indie bands that stick to the same formula and all sound exactly the same. LOTP grew up in Castle Donnington (it's in the Midlands, UK) and still live there with their parents... where they "communicate at night via torch signals".
