The blueprint?

Why don't we have our own equivalent success story in the UK?
With Slammin' Kicks gone, Bond gone and Foot Patrol gone (but coming back owned by the corporate dollar that is JD sports)
will we ever have our own Hundreds?

Im a fan of the hundreds but i want to rep something that’s young fresh and born in the UK further more LONDON.

So young LDN entrepreneurs step your game up.

i spent way too much money in that San Fran store this april. All the staff were really cool (kinda find that with the majority of young retail staff in the states).

The Hundreds is a cool label, one not to sleep on!

Yo Bizz man, if you and the tribers set something up all ur fans at ATCN would rep to the fullest.

Every student knows someone who knows someone who can hook up free advertising etc.

ATCN has potential for sure... But is that the avenue ATCN wants to go??? who knows... But for sure we will all rep... Keepin it LONDON! The guys in the states LOVE London shit because THEY CANT GET IT!!! lol

Right now though... the biggest name from London is by far T-Magic... He is my boy and i am PROUD to say that Slamminkicks was the first and ONLY store to sell the official T-Magic clothing and Artwork...

Just wait until september to see what he is going to do... MASSIVE plans...

Sounds like I work for him right??? lool i dont...

Of course my own brand Crossover is still delayed... but im not bringing out anything until its 100% perfect...

I got some huge plans for that too... stay tuned...

yo magdi, i used to come into slammin kicks, where can i cop some dope sneakers now (sorry i say sneakers)

I dont know what atcn want to come with, where you guys want to go. but i suggest you start with putting your fly ass females in tribe gear. that would be sure to get people paying attention to atcn. ya dig. send them to the sweat shop to sew, have them come back looking like a million tribal dollars, i mean pounds.

as for the hundreds, love them, they kill it with their hat game. atcn need to get on the new era vibe for real.

Big up bond^^^^^
check their blog here...

http://bondinternationalblog.blogspot.com/

Now i (as any of the boutiques in London will tell you)have spent a lot of time in their shops and money at their tills for years now! so to see so many go is a killer.

I think what imperious rex and super deluxe are doing is major and needed for us non Footlocker shoppers, but it would be nice to see something on the level of Stussy or Bape rise from our country...

The question is...

Can it happen?

in short.. no

Is anyone really ready to produce clothing which is affordable & well-designed..

don't think so.

If footpatrol comes back under the JD wing that would e selling out. Footpatrol apart from Glorias was the only place that realistically fully repped sneaker culture in london.
i would rather have no footpatrol than one which i guarantee would no longer have that "exclusivity" that is needed.
The move would just solidify the whole idea of independants not being able to succed unless under the coporate wing.

REAL TALK!

If you lot make garms you will be the first to blow BIG!

Trust us

mark, with all due respect... Footpatrol as much as i loved the guys there... big up to FP family... they were handcuffed by Nike in their late days... they had shoes that Size? had months before them... there was nothing exclusive in there... Adidas really looked after them and supported them through it all....

the problem was that the KNOBS at size would always complain about stores and threaten to cut their orders and all that crap... the independant has NOWHERE to survive unless your out of their zone and out of the limelight... Size dont like competition...

There was an ASICS X ALIFE shoe and from PATTA that we were supposed to sell... and DIRECT from Alife AND the guys from Patta... they both told me...

"Size have complained that they are not getting the shoe and dont want you to have it..." Asics hands were tied but they made sure that them pricks at size didnt get them either...

Trust me.... the game is messed up over here... too many haters...

SK FOR LIFE!!!!! (RIP..... for now!)

That is true towards the end of FP the nike stock was jus the same at size. But surely thats illegal, I understand the coporate dollar using thier power to out muscle the independants and that is trult fucked.

If this is the case the London scene is all but dead, a company like jd that only cares about money, is bound to screw up and expect to see a FP billboard in the tube.

Whos on for Flight Club London. You can guarantee a case like this would never happen.

whatever happend to the spirit of fair competition, jd cant keep out muscling the competition.

For me Hundreds isnt doing much in terms of quality design etc. The fact is they have two very business minded people running the show and thats why they have been able to capture such an audience and get where they are now. We have brands that produce much better stuff than the hundreds in the UK. Its just a matter of building foundations and keeping a clean head on yoru shoulders as opposed to jumping on bandwagons and using the strength of the pound as an excuse for ripping the shit out of people.
