I recently stumbled across a website that has a museum full of 'bad' album artwork. A question I get asked all the time is "do you get frustrated by bad design?" The answer is NO. What is bad design? How do you define it? In my eyes there are no rules, it's just an opinion. What is Art? What is design? Is beauty without depth just decoration? Someone once told me that "Art poses a question about society and Design attempts to be/is the answer." Here are a few quotes from designers/artists that have inspired me:

When I was working for Multistorey Design I was bored at lunch and searched 'Bad design' via google... this is what came up. It made me laugh. ive been wanting to post it for ages.
I have seen the Millie Jackson - 'back to the shit' cover in the record shop across the road from YOYO before! LOL
I too discovered Millie amongst my ma's record collection as a child.
She has the best covers! No one can test her!

These days it seems all the art has been taken out of the album cover artwork. Its all just a hermogenous, generic yawn.

ALL of Cash Money's & No Limit's album covers shouldve been in that museum/website! they were all so weak.
i remember seeing Juvenile & lil wayne standing in flames as tall as houses. in the background were policemen sitting on horses and crack heads sucking the pipe in the background. those covers made me not want to visit my cousins in New Orleans....

damn u think thats bad u shud see some of the ones in my collection.. altho if u ask me the cheesier, the better.. one of the illest i have has to be a cover with one half of a toilet with a caption that reads "music for half-assed friends"
