Sneaker freak?Big up Roc moneyProps: BNTLBiz
very good piece...I have to say Reg... your bit was the best part... but see man like Aaron on there... he is the reason why independent stores are gone.... YOU CAN BUY EVERYTHING ONLINE... IM NOT IN TO GOING TO SHOPS.... A true sneaker head LOVES to go to the shops and pick up the shoes and touch them and be able to take them home... Reggie used to come to my store REGULAR... may not always buy... but always came to check out what was new.... Most of dudes collection was no older than 3-4 years old... MAXIMUM!!!
when that dude says 'our sole obesseion' sounds he says like arsehole obsession. Or maybe he did.. lol
magdi wheres your store?and biz do you know where the stores featured in that vid are situated?
WOW safe mags and you know what...each to their own man, I really do believe passionately what i said in the piece and i think its sad we are losing our relationship with the man in the shop...its sad.AND BY THAT IM NOT REFERRING TO THE HAIRY BIG BLOKE FROM SLAMMING KICKS!PAUSELOL
sneaks are so lame these days, aint seen a pair that made me go WOW...tell a lie, the new cw on the structures and the Jordan 3/18 countdown pack in october are the only ones im interested in.
Its unlikely i can enter a independent sneaker store in LDN and "check out whats new" becuase they simply wont be stocking it. Sneaker stores can afford to trade price for exclusivity as flightclub does, since they stock stuff not avalible elsewhere but if the shop dosnt offer either its unlikely to be a viable business.Your comment about feeling the shoe dosnt quite make sense as i still feel mine, only i get what i want and im not left with a hole in my pocket. And yes none of my kicks go back more than 5 years, which isnt surprising as my childhood wasnt filled with jordans and Bball. I like to keep my shits relevant to myself
Preach! Plus aslong as indie kick shops maintain cold and snobbish customer service they're silly prices WONT slide. "True sneaker heads" dnt travel to a shop if they feel it only offers intimidating enviroment/cold service like most indie shops do...D
p.s Resale Resale prices... that shit aint serious....D
Very true, these places need to stop with their snobbish elitism, then you wonder why your sales are doing quite poorly. Don't blame the "general public, and the lack of sneaker heads/streetwear enthusiasts in London" - look at yourself and ask, do you seem hospitibal and show a hint of warm customer service from the get go.
