So I'm leaving Miami today after two sun-soaked weeks... It was nice to get away for a while but I have to say I'll be glad to be back in gritty, shitty London town. No matter how much I enjoy a holiday, my body always seems to breathe a subconscious sigh of relief once I inhale that filthy London air.
Anyway. Miami was, as always, a delight. I did my usual lazy/forgetful thing of not taking pictures 95% of the time but it was mostly the usual holiday shenanigans of sunbathing, swimming, eating, drinking, sleeping (repeat to fade). A few of the moments I did manage to capture:
Saw a great exhibition called 'Art and Rock and Roll: Sympathy for the Devil since 1967' at the North Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. Any Miamian ATCN readers out there? Go check it out!
Only in America...
Right, I'm off to try and work out how I'm gonna fit an extra five pairs of shoes in a suitcase which already refuses to close. Wish me luck!

Looks like you had a good time over there.
I must say nice spiz'ike's. Only reason am congratulating is because I've had them here in London since Jan! HA!
swim on the spizikes and why was there soooooo many londoners in miami this year?!
Phoebe im intrigued, what sneaker boutique is the one Vis is at? Culture Kings?!
there were toooooooooooo many brits in Miami it was like be on a school bus on the plane
Yo. See those Jordans that lady is trying on. Do you know where i can purchase them from?
who paid for your dinner Reg or Vis..? lol either one and your a lucky girl
Haha so many questions!
@ Anonymous: No idea why there were so many Londoners in Miami, but I barely heard an American accent the whole time I was there! Very strange...
@ illmaticbbcmodel: Can't remember the name of the shop Vis was in, just a random sports shop at the end of Lincoln Road with a decent selection of sneakers. The real gem was the new boutique Air Traffic Control on 16th St where I found the Spiz'ikes. Big up Reg for discovering that one!
@Tanone: The 'lady' is me, and I found the Spiz'ikes at ATC, the shop mentioned above. Think I nabbed the last pair tho!
@Anonymous: Neither!
Sweet much appreciated Phoebe, Im going Miami soon just to shop, shop and shop so any other significant boutiques/shops, i should grace to fufill my fetish of shoes which are athletic? or just sweet clothes in general?
If you're heading to the M.I.A aka "a sunny place for shadi people", definetly head over to ATC on 16th between collins & washington. I just copped me a pair of one time only's. They re-up often, so no matter when you go, they'll always have something you need to own. Everytime I go, I feel like a fat kid at a candy store. This store is definetly for the sneaker connoisseur, not for the novice.
P.S~I asked about the Sp'zikes, they have several pairs left. So now you know where all you sneaker feens could get your fix!! : )
