Fucking embarrassment. If you're a thick verbally dyslexic young man, don't go on Newsnight and let the whole country know that! This is what I meant when I said I wish people would take Obama's inspiration to LEARN how the system works and how to make it work for you, as opposed to portray yourself as a 21st Century Minstrel cooned up for the BBC. I like Diz as an MC, but definitely NOT as an MP!

watching it again i take it back he was trying to make a valid point.
and paxman was taking the piss a little "mr rascal" lol how's he gonna ask him if he thinks hes british? silly questions get silly answers. paxman looked dumbfounded.
Yes he should have done it...! he is known as an entertainer NOT a serious policial commentator. So his appreance should not be judged as so..
I think it says alot about how sucessful he is that he was asked to go on there in the first place.. Don't forget Dizzee made (obviously less magnificent) history in this country this year too.
Dizzee made some good intelligent points all with a smile on his face.

that was a bit ali G (in a bad way) and he took it a bit far with the hip hop thing, but all a great and valid gesture and cant think of anyone more qualified to speak as a young black man for london.
